A mix of a variety of genres and voices
Some of the genre's largest gems are coming back with brand-new titles. Amor Towles, famous for A Gentleman in Moscow, returns with Table for Two (Sept. 9). Horror fans can braise themselves for Bleed (Sept. 16), the new novel by Stephen King. Literary heavy hitter Zadie Smith is publishing her ambitious historical fiction The Fraud (Sept. 23), a reimagine of a true 19th century trial.
Memoirs, sequels and hotly anticipated debuts in the works
Fans of Michelle Zauner (Crying in H Mart) can expect her new memoir Memory Palace on Oct. 14, as Leigh Bardugo keeps the fantasy going with The Familiar's Return (Oct. 28). Other highly expected works include debut author Kemi Adebayo's The Weight of Water (Nov. 4), already making waves with its lyrical writing.
