Before getting over the afterglow of Durga Puja, a new festival begins. Diwali is just ahead. Bengalis are equally excited about the festival of lights. Though not for five days, preparations for dressing up have begun once again after the autumn festival. Not just gorgeous outfits, but skin also needs that glow.

However, makeup alone won't suffice for that. The skin's natural radiance must also be present. How can you enhance your skin's glow in less time without going to a parlor?

What rules should you follow?

It's futile to expect that you won't sleep a wink all night and still have glowing skin. Adequate sleep is essential for healthy skin. Lack of sleep gradually makes the skin dull. The skin starts losing its inner radiance. Despite being busy, try to sleep longer before Diwali.

One of the important steps in skin care is drinking plenty of water. If you drink less water, the skin will start losing moisture. The skin's glow will also diminish due to the habit of drinking less water. Drinking water makes the skin fresh from within.

It's not possible to stay away from fried foods during festivals. But it's important to restrain yourself a bit before the festival arrives. Then there will be no difficulty in standing out during the festive crowd. Processed foods and fried items are truly harmful to the skin. The habit of eating such foods gradually makes the skin lifeless.
