Durga puja is over, yet the festive vibes are still lingering. The house has become messy as the past few days left no time for domestic organization. New clothes are piled on the chairs. A heap of dishes is scattered throughout the kitchen. Dirty clothes couldn't be washed, due to rain and are now piling up in a corner of the house or in the bathroom. The prospect of restoring order to this chaos is daunting. However, using few strategies can make the task a bit easier.

1) Start by organizing the items taken out for the puja. Choose a small drawer or box. Set a 10-minute timer on your mobile device. During this time, gather all the scattered decorative items and cosmetics, arranging them neatly in the drawer or box. This method allows you to accomplish a big task within a short period.

2) A large pile of clothes has accumulated. Organizing them may take a whole day. Instead, set a 15-minute timer dedicated to clothing arrangement. Fold as many garments as feasible within this period. Repeat this process over the weekend to complete the task. This method makes the work feel less overwhelming while effectively restoring your living space.

3) Many items in the house aren’t used throughout the year but are needed during the puja. These may include both puja related items and decorative elements. Allocate 30 minutes daily to the meticulous cleaning of these items. Utilize this time to sanitize and properly store these items.

4) For items that serve no practical purpose year-round and only clutter the house should be kept in a specific box. Once the box is full, discard unnecessary items or donate what is still useful. This prevents the unnecessary accumulation of unnecessary objects in your living space.
