Some recent events have proved the idea that the risk of heart disease is not only for elderly people. Various studies and statistics have also shown that the risk of heart disease among young people is increasing. This trend has continued since the COVID-19 epidemic. Recently, the news of the sudden death of singer Rishabh 'Fakir' Tandon, 35, has further intensified that fear. But what could be the reasons behind the increase in heart disease among young people?

Doctors say that the reason behind the increase in heart disease among young people is an uncontrolled lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits. In the busy life of work, the 'food at home' has almost disappeared. Most of the day is spent ordering food online or with home delivery. Apart from this, there are thousands of junk food options to satisfy hunger. As a result, the risk of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is increasing in most cases.

What is 'Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy'?

Doctors say that the heart muscle has to work continuously to circulate blood to the heart system. But as a result of uncontrolled living, sometimes the heart muscle has to work extra hard. As a result, it becomes weak. In some cases, it is seen that the heart muscle or muscle wall begins to thicken. As a result, it is normal for blood circulation to be disrupted. If this happens, the risk of a heart attack increases. In medical terminology, it is called 'hypertrophic cardiomyopathy'.

What are the rules that need to be followed to stay healthy?

1) Eating homemade food
