Nowadays, most people are concerned about their health. They work hard to control sugar and cholesterol and avoid gaining weight. Bringing the first change to the kitchen is essential for maintaining good health. There should be less oil in the diet and more grains and vegetables. The issue is that, despite your best efforts, you are unable to lower the oil content. Food that has less oil doesn't taste as good. Additionally, occasionally you unintentionally add too much oil.

How to avoid this problem and cook delicious and healthy food?

1) Don't pour oil directly from the jar or bottle into the pan. This results in using too much oil. So keep a spoon handy. Use oil by measuring it.

2) There's no rule that you always have to cook by frying. Whether it's vegetables or meat, steam them before cooking with oil. Steaming before frying requires less oil. This keeps the nutritional value and taste of the food intact.

3) Whether it's paneer, fish, or meat, marinate them before cooking. Marinated food cooks quickly. It also requires less oil. Using 1 spoon of oil during marination is sufficient. Besides, you can use yogurt in marination. Then you won't need oil at all.

4) Cook with a lid on and reduce the heat. Cooking with a lid makes it possible to prepare delicious food with less oil. And cooking on low heat keeps the nutritional value of food intact. Rather, high temperatures destroy the nutrition in food.

5) To cook with less oil, you need to choose the right utensils too. Using non-stick pans allows you to make delicious dishes with less oil. For frying with just a few drops of oil, you can choose an air fryer. This way you can eat tasty food without any oil.
