India signs ₹62,370 crore deal to acquire 97 Tejas Mk1A fighter

HAL signed a contract with the Defence Ministry to supply 68 fighters and 29 twin-seaters with over 64% indigenous content for the IAF, with deliveries set to begin in 2027-28.
