17th September, Wednesday: After taking over playlists, making people hum and dance with the groovy beats, with the runaway success of their debut song “Melar Gaan”, Hooliganism is back to set the festive spirit high with their latest release- “Pujar Gaan”. Launched on 17th September 2025 on SVF Music, the song combines soul-stirring lyrics, folk-y beats, and energetic rhythms to portray the real essence of Durga Puja.

With its intermixture of resistance, religion, and harmony, "Pujar Gaan" is more than a celebratory tune. It captures the universal feelings of happiness, hardship, and devotion, making Puja not simply a religious observance but a cultural pulse that links people together. With its effortless blend of classic beats and unafraid modern landscapes, the song becomes the signature anthem of the holiday season.

The song is written by Anirban Bhattacharya, Subhadeep Guha and Gopinath Murmu, composed by Subhadeep Guha, Debraj Bhattacharya, Anirban Bhattacharya and Gopinath Murmu with the vocals of Subhadeep Guha, Debraj Bhattacharya and Anirban Bhattacharya.

Commenting on the release, Anirban Bhattacharya said- " This song is our salute to the spirit of the people – their fight, their faith, and their joy during Puja. We wanted to create something that feels both rooted and global.” Debraj Bhattacharya, said, "Music is powerful to resonate, and with Pujar Gaan we aimed to unite people through rhythm, energy and emotion." On the path to creation, Subhadeep Guha said, " The making of this track was a journey of sound and soul. Every beat, every word is crafted to echo the voice of the people.”
