The Mallick family's Durga Puja remains in the spotlight year-round. Bhowanipore's Mallick Bari has been bustling since the day of Bodhon. On the morning of Ashtami, actor Ranjit Mallick was seen in high spirits with his family. The entire house was filled with relatives. The doors were also opened for all common visitors on this day. However, this year's biggest surprise at the Mallick household was Koel's daughter Kabya.

Koel had shared her daughter's picture on Saptami itself. Ashtami brought an entirely different surprise. She watched the Goddess sitting on her mother's lap in the Mandap. Kabya was seen wearing a matching pink outfit with her brother Kabir. On this day, while sitting in the mandap, Koel not only beautifully braided her daughter's hair but also taught her son how to blow the conch shell. All these moments were captured by the camera of 'Ei Samay Online'.

Ranjit Mallick was overjoyed spending the Puja with his grandchildren. The actor said, “My granddaughter is not really understanding much at this point. But Kabir is thoroughly enjoying it. And Puja means the homecoming of loved ones. It's extremely joyful”. On one hand, Koel is happy to be able to offer puja together as a family of four with Kabya in her arms. Equally, during this time of Durga Puja, she finds herself transported back to the age of Kabir and Kabya.

In Koel's words, “Whenever I step into Mallick Bari, my father and I return to our childhood. We've spent so many joyous moments. So many memories. This year is very special among them. The four of us offered puja together. Kabya, Kabir, Rane, and I had darshan of the Mother together. There are still a few more days left. I'm extremely happy”.

Koel's daughter arrived at the puja mandap in her father's arms. Kabir in a punjabi and Kabya in a ghagra. The two siblings were dressed in matching pink outfits. Koel spent a beautiful time sitting before Goddess Durga with both her children.
