Bengal U-19 secured their second straight win in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, defeating Madhya Pradesh by 84 runs.

Bengal Under-19 men's team sustained their winning spree for the second time in a row, in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy Elite.

They beat Madhya Pradesh by 84 runs (VJD method) in an encounter at CAP Ground 4, Puducherry, on Saturday. Bengal batted first and scored 218/9 in 50 overs, driven by Sayan Paul's dogged 70 and Aditya Roy's 45. Madhya Pradesh was left in shambles to 102/7 in 40 overs after Bengal had batted before rain brought an end to play.

Bengal's bowlers, headed by Rohit (3-20) and Ashutosh Kumar (2-23), ensured the team's second consecutive victory in the tournament, displaying a good all-round effort.
