The IPL 2026 went through a long-term waiting for Arjun Tendulkar to get into the field. He was left benched throughout the entire season, finally getting a chance at the last match. In the last match of LSG, Arjun made his debut for this season of IPL and gained a wicket of the opponent team PBKS during a crucial time of the match.
His patience and skill impressed his father, Sachin Tendulkar, who quoted an emotional context on his social media page, praising the patience, hard work, and ability in the match. He also bestowed his love on his son and suggested being in love with the game as he did earlier.
Taking to X, Sachin wrote, "Well done, Arjun. Proud of the way you’ve carried yourself through this season, always believing in your ability, staying patient, working hard quietly, and remaining positive despite having to wait for your opportunity till the very last match. Cricket tests patience as much as skill, and you handled both beautifully today. Keep your feet on the ground, and continue being in love with the game like you always have. Love you always."

Arjun came back again in the 15th over, where he was smashed with boundaries by Shreyas Iyer, finally getting the wicket by producing a yorker that let Prabhsimran stumble in front of the stumps. Arjun finished his bowling innings with figures of 1 for 36 which made an impressive impact.
The final match for LSG went through a disappointment, making an end to their race for this season of IPL. But the debutant player Arjun gained positive views in terms of his morale from the cricket world and so from his father, Sachin Tendulkar.
