Ranji Trophy 2025: Hyderabad trails by 129 runs against Delhi after Day 3 


Delhi posts 529 with two double centuries from Sanat Sangwan (211) and Ayush Doseja (209); and Hyderabad posts 400/7 after Day 3.

Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy comes to an end and the Hyderabad vs Delhi match is going towards a draw. If something bizarre does not happen then the match will end as a draw as Hyderabad failed to stop Delhi from making big runs and batting first they played straight two days. Delhi ended their innings with a huge 529 runs and in reply, Hyderabad gave a tough fight by posting a strong 400 runs with losing 7 wickets.

Here is a brief highlight of the match till day 3

Delhi innings

Batting first Delhi posted a mammoth 529 runs total with the help of two double hundreds. Sanat Sangwan the Delhi opener scored 211 runs in 470 balls and Ayush Doseja also posted a heroic 209 runs with the help of 25 fours and five sixes. Ayush Doseja and Sanat Sangwan built a partnership of 143 runs and Delhi captain Ayush Badoni also contributed with a fifty.

Hyderabad innings

Hyderabad came to bat in the third session of day 2 after Delhi declared their innings on the score of 529 runs. Hyderabad captain Tilak Verma went out for a duck and senior player and opener Tanmay Agarwal scored a century and helped Hyderabad to reach 400 at the end of day 3. Aniketh Reddy and Aelgani Varun Goud contributed with half-centuries. Delhi captain Ayush Badoni took 5 wickets.

As the match went into the last day, contributions from the lower order will be vital for Hyderabad to avoid getting a lead.

Whereas Team Delhi will be eager to get the lead to get the vital 3 points.
