India is going to play a three-match ODI series against Australia from 19 October. This series marks the return of two veteran players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The two Indian legends have not donned the Indian jersey since the Champions Trophy victory over New Zealand in March. On Wednesday morning, the BCCI shared a video of Indian players departing for Australia. Captioning the video, BCCI wrote,” En route Down Under… of familiar faces and special reunions as Team India depart for the Australia challenge.”
The video shows Indian players coming down from the bus. Shubman Gill meets Rohit Sharma. Rohit and Virat hugged each other later, and Virat Kohli was seen to have a chill and fun moment with Shubman Gill.

India is going to play their first match in Perth on 19 October, and the Indian team departed for Australia just 3 days before, ahead of the series. Experts also raised questions about the late departure, as there are several new and inexperienced players, and suitability with the Australian situation can take time, but fans flooded the comment section and showed their experience.
One user commented,” Rohit & Virat are looking so calm and composed.” Another user commented,” The Indian cricket team is an emotion.” Saying about emotions, one user wrote,” Finally, duty and emotions together in the same frame.” One user also commented,” missing Jadeja.”
On the other hand, the Australian captain Pat Cummins will miss the series as he is not fit. Mitchel Marsh will be the stand-in captain.
