In Sunday night's Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers primetime game, Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love stole the show. It’s significant because, in turning around a 16-7 deficit after two quarters, Jordan Love played the best half of the season.
Love completed 29 passes out of 37 passes for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Rodgers, on the other hand, suffered his third defeat of the season, finishing with 24-of-36 completed passes for 219 yards and 2 TDs.
Packers’ Jordan Love wants Aaron Rodgers’ game jersey
In the week before the Week 8 matchup between the teams, Jordan Love and Aaron Rodgers talked a lot about their relationship. However, when they met for a postgame handshake at midnight Eastern time, it was brief, but the photos were inspirational, which went viral on social media.
Jordan Love wanted to do a jersey exchange with Rodgers, but given the late hour, they couldn’t, so they will do this ritual later.

Jordan Love explained in the press conference after the match, “Just said good game, keep going for the rest of the season.” He also added,“I want him to stay healthy, and I’ve got a lot of love for him. Very fun to go against him. I told him I needed that jersey, and we’re gonna exchange them at a later time.”
Another significant highlight of this match was, Jordan Love played with his former mentor, Packers legend and current Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, on the opposite sideline.
Rodgers was impressed with Jordan Love
Rodgers said in the press conference, “He played great, played fantastic.”He added, “He’s had a really nice season. He’s been really efficient with the football. He’s opportunistic, though. I felt like he was very patient tonight. They took the run solutions. He took the checkdowns, moved in the pocket well. He played outstanding.”

Jordan Love said the message at halftime was that the offence was not playing poorly, it was just not working at the end of drives, and in consequence of that, part of which falls on kicker Brandon McManus, who missed two field goals. Love said, “When we came into the locker room at halftime, the message was that we just weren’t finishing, we weren’t executing our plays and we weren’t locked in. So, there’s plays to be made and I think we just weren’t executing those. … I think the message was, do your job, lock in, execute plays and stay on the field. And we did that.”
Jordan Love got himself into a ‘zone’ in that second half, and now has the Packers at a 5-1-1 win record, the best one in the NFL.
