The Golden State Warriors will lock horns with the Denver Nuggets in a much-anticipated NBA 2025-26 season fixture. The Warriors currently sit seventh in the Western Conference with a 5-4 record and are coming off a narrow 116-121 loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Missing key players like Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler, the defeat was tough but not as damaging as their earlier setbacks against the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, look confident after defeating the Miami Heat 122-112. Nikola Jokic once again stole the show with 33 points, 16 assists, and 15 rebounds which marked his fifth triple-double of the season. Aaron Gordon also showed up with 24 points, underlining Denver’s depth and balance heading into their clash with the Warriors.

Curry’s absence looms large as Jokic leads a confident Nuggets side at home.

The Warriors will travel to Denver’s Ball Arena for their NBA Cup opener, but unfortunately fans will once again miss the sight of Curry playing on the court. Without their talisman, Steve Kerr’s team faces a rising battle against a Denver squad that usually thrives on their home ground.

The Nuggets and Warriors will meet on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 PM ET (7:00 PM local time). The game will be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video and NBA League Pass, while the radio listeners can tune in on SiriusXM channel 86 for listening to the live coverage.

Denver has entered this contest with a nice momentum and a home crowd behind them, while Golden State will rely on its younger lineup to stay competitive. With Jokic in sublime form, fans can expect another thrilling showdown in what seems to be one of the early highlights of the NBA Cup season.
