AT&T customers have just a few days to file a claim in the $177 million class action settlement linked to the company's 2024 data breaches. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
The settlement follows two major security incidents last year that exposed the personal information of millions of users, including addresses, Social Security numbers, birthdates, billing details and even phone numbers.

What happened in the AT&T breaches?
The first breach happened on March 30, 2024, when customer data became available on the dark web. A second breach followed later that year on July 12, 2024, with more user data associated with AT&T accounts illegally being downloaded.
The class action lawsuit encompasses both incidents, with AT&T agreeing to compensate users whose data was compromised.
Who can file a claim?
If you were affected by either or both of these breaches, then you may be eligible to receive compensation. You can check your eligibility and file a claim on the official Kroll Settlement Administration website.

Eligible customers may claim up to $7,500 depending on which breach they had been through and how much loss was incurred.

Tier 1 Cash Payment (for those whose SSNs were exposed): up to $5,000.
