OpenAI has taken ChatGPT from a conversational AI tool to an intelligent platform for music, design, travel, and so much more by integrating a collection of apps. As reported by News18 Hindi, users now have the ability to control applications such as Spotify, Canva, Zillow, and Expedia right from the chatbot interface without opening separate apps.
ChatGPT becomes a multipurpose platform
With the latest changes, ChatGPT will now let users to carry out their desired tasks in multiple domains effortlessly. For example, Spotify members will be able to connect their accounts to find new albums, build personalised playlists, and even access popular pre-curated playlists such as New Music Friday or Discover Weekly. The Canva integration allows users to create and edit posts, social media images, or other visual elements within ChatGPT, with live previews and the ability to transfer the design to Canva for further edits. The Figma integration provides immediate diagram or chart suggestions, and the Zillow app assists users in browsing local homes, viewing prices, maps and photos or filter listings according to one's budget.
Enhancing travel, learning, and future app support
Travel planning is also made simpler through Expedia and Booking.com integrations within ChatGPT, that will enable searching for flights or hotels without opening multiple tabs. Users can even search by price or location of the place they want to stay in. Integration with Coursera provides learning opportunities, where AI provides suggestions for courses or videos which aligns with the interest of the users. OpenAI has said that soon apps like Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, OpenTable, Target, Peloton, Tripadvisor, and AllTrails will be included. By the year-end, developers will also be able to submit apps to the ChatGPT directory, which will feature only secure, reliable and useful applications, ensuring a valuable user experience.
