August 30, Saturday: With Apple set to release the iPhone 17 Pro Max, price-conscious buyers in India are all set to gain. A recent Hindustan Times report suggests that prices of the two-year-old iPhone 15 Pro Max are likely to plummet once the new device is launched on the market.

Affordable Excellence

The iPhone 15 Pro Max, which was initially available at ₹1,44,990 for the 256GB model, is already selling at below ₹1 lakh on sites such as Flipkart, courtesy of existing e-commerce offers.

With the iPhone 17 Pro Max soon to be launched, consumers can expect even deeper discounts and compelling offers to price the existing flagship further down.

A New Benchmark for Premium Smartphones

If you're looking at Apple's new one, get ready for a high price. The new iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to begin at ₹1,64,000 for the 256GB model.

Pre-booking is likely to start early on 12 September 2025, and sales will kick in on 19 September.

Smart timing is the key

The choice to grab the iPhone 15 Pro Max today might save you a huge amount of money over holding out for the latest model. Contrarily, if you're interested in the newest hardware, put it on your calendar: the iPhone 17 Pro Max launch is 9 September, with availability soon after.

What to prefer?

For those on a budget who're die-hard Apple enthusiasts, the time to make a move on the iPhone 15 Pro Max offers is already enticing with revised prices less than ₹1 lakh, and iPhone 17 Pro Max's late-September launch will, in all likelihood, guarantee even steeper discounts. Value or bragging rights are not out of your reach if you time your buy carefully.
