YouTube, owned by Alphabet, was down for thousands of users in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and other countries, as stated by Downdetector.
In a statement posted on its status page on Wednesday, YouTube acknowledged that users were having trouble viewing videos and said it was looking into the matter.
The cause of the problem was not immediately apprehended. There are nearly 203,763 users reported the outrage.

Additionally, thousands reported experiencing an outage with YouTubeTV and YouTube Music, the music streaming service. While over 2379 users reported problems with YouTube TV, over 4,873 users reported an outage with YouTube Music. According to DownDetector, streaming video and music accounted for 54% of user problems.
Despite claims that it could be a DDOS attack, YouTube has not said anything officially yet about the cause of the attack.
