Indian astrologer Prashanth Kini has come into the spotlight regarding the devastating Red Fort car blast in Delhi. Kini had previously made headlines in August for his prediction regarding “Pahalgam-2,” claiming that an event would occur between November and December 2025. After Monday’s tragic explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, Kini’s old post resurfaced online, sparking widespread discussion about his earlier claims.

What did he predict?

He posted on X (formerly Twitter) in August, “Many of my followers are asking me when will India and Pakistan will engage in war...Me :In 3d week of December 2025 some incident will trigger war like situations between INDIA and Pakistan!!!”

In his recent statement referencing his earlier prediction, Kini described the incident as a “terrorist attack,” emphasising the severity of the blast. He claimed that human body parts were found scattered up to 300 meters from the explosion site, underscoring the magnitude of the devastation.

He later predicts again, “Modi is waiting for opportunity to restart operation Sindoor...They gave him the opportunity...Operation Sindoor-2 will definitely happen…” assuring 'Operation Sindoor 2' will definitely happen.

Netizens react

One user replied to the post, “Modiji hai toh mumkin hai.”, another asked him, “Yes sir but will it be in 2025 or 2026 ? Or still dangerous terror attack coming ? From Pakistan ? Because until they are fully destroyed! They won’t sit quite”, another user wrote, “No the are saying that from next time it will be treated as act of war.”

The blast, which took place in a Hyundai i20 car near the Red Fort, left the area in chaos. At least eight people lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries. Delhi Police quickly reached the scene and cordoned off the area as emergency services and forensic teams began their work. The intensity of the explosion left vehicles charred and debris scattered across the vicinity.

Following the incident, Delhi Police registered a case under several stringent laws, including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Preliminary investigation revealed that the Hyundai i20 involved in the blast had been sold to a Pulwama resident from Jammu and Kashmir who was living in Faridabad, allegedly using forged documents. The probe is now underway to trace the full network behind the incident.
