A Ukrainian woman living in India has gone viral for sharing her amazement at the country’s quick commerce service.
Viktoriia Chakraborty, who has been residing in India for some time, posted a short video on Instagram that has sent Indians online into a spiral.
Blinkit, along with similar platforms like Swiggy Instamart and Zepto, has really transformed how Indians shop for essentials.
Holding a Blinkit packet in her hand, she expressed, “So there is one thing about India which my European friends get shocked about, is ten-minute deliveries. Like, I ordered this I think even less than ten minutes ago, and you literally can get anything, fruits, vegetables, any technical stuff, or household supplies. So it is really cool, and I love it.”
“Do you also survive on Blinkit? In India anything you want from groceries to medicines arrives at your doorstep in just ten minutes! Meanwhile my European friends still wonder how that’s even possible and keep whining about their long waits. Honestly, fast deliveries are one of the coolest things about living here,” she captioned the video.
Viktoriia post quickly caught the internet’s attention
Many users agreed with her appreciation, saying that India’s delivery infrastructure has become one of the most efficient in the world.
One user commented, “It’s only possible because of the size of population in India and cheaper labour compared to the western counterparts.”
“Police ???? and Ambulance ???? doesn't come in 10 minutes but blinkit comes. I am from the USA and I was surprised when I got delivered in India home,” another commented.
“Bharat is the only country where you can get such services. Even blood tests can be done at your home,” one piped in.
Several comments went further, like one wrote, “Actually India is a thousand times developed than other European countries, reason why here everything is so perfect.”
