Recently, a shocking video showing a tiger attacking and dragging a man allegedly at the Forest Guest House in Brahmapuri, Chandrapur district, Maharashtra has been making the rounds on social media.

The Chandrapur region, which falls under the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve landscape, frequently witnesses tiger sightings and occasional human-wildlife encounters.

The clip, apparently captured on CCTV, bears the timestamp “31/10/2025” and “6:42.”

The video quickly went viral, amassed over 58,000 views. While many social media users expressed horror, others were quick to question its authenticity. Some viewers even suggested that the entire clip might be AI-generated.

Netizens refuting the video as AI-generated

“This is completely fake-AI-generated. A lot of fake AI-generated wildlife videos are doing the rounds on social media,” one user wrote.

Another commented, “The AI movie has been made very cleanly but with some mistakes.”

“100% AI hai ...jis taraf se baagh aate dikha udhar hi jaate nahin dikha,” one commented.

“Ai generated hain ….tiger ki entry dekho pata chal jayega,” another wrote.

However, Range Forest Officer (RFO) Sachin Narad of Brahmapuri has claimed, “This video is not from Brahmapuri. It is not known where it was recorded.”

“It is suspected that this video might have been created by AI,” Narad warned.

Notably, one X user, even flagged, “Chairs and lighting is too sophesticated to be used in a Brahmapuri forest rest house. Another point as of 31st Oct the sunset in Brahmapuri would have happened by 5.50 pm to 6 pm. The video shows natural light and time as 18.42 pm, highly unlikely.”

“This fake AI generated video..look at that person going towards Tiger instead of protecting himself with stick or chair or hiding. And tiger pulling him looks like fake. In such a forest area, security person always equipped with stick or other things to scare wild animals,” anothe user also backed the AI-generated claim.
