Viral video of actors Tiku Talsania, Manasi Parekh’s bike stunts land them in legal trouble

Ahmedabad Police have booked actors Tiku Talsania and Manasi Parekh after videos of them performing dangerous stunts on two-wheelers went viral on social media. The clips, reportedly shot to promote their upcoming Gujarati film Misri, have drawn sharp criticism for flouting traffic safety norms.

In one, Manasi Parekh, who is riding a pillion, is seen standing on a moving bike and striking the famous Titanic pose. In another video, it is veteran actor Tiku Talsania who is standing while riding a two-wheeler through regular traffic. A third clip shows the cast and crew gathered on a busy road with a poster of their film.

Social media backlash and calls for action

The videos, shot on the public roads of Ahmedabad amidst flowing traffic, have sent shockwaves among social media users who described the act as "irresponsible" and "unsafe." Many users tagged Ahmedabad Police, asking for action against the team for risking public safety.

Police register case under BNS and Motor Vehicles Act

The Ahmedabad Police, responding quickly, registered a case at the “A” Division Traffic Police Station. The department posted on X that in this case, on 30-10-2025, Crime Register No. 11191051250588/2025 has been registered at "A" Division Traffic Police Station under BNS Section 281 and Motor Vehicles Act Sections 177, 184 for recklessly and negligently driving vehicles at high speed on a public road in a manner endangering human life and performing stunts.

Following the backlash, the official handle of the Ahmedabad Traffic Police shared a “before-and-after” video - juxtaposing the clips of the stunts with footage of the actors apologising for their actions.

Reactions on social media widely supported the police action. “Promotions are fine, but doing risky stunts on public roads? That’s just irresponsible. Glad Ahmedabad Police stepped in - safety can’t be compromised for publicity,” a user commented. Another user commented that the actors should be “promoting road safety and civic sense for a change.”
