An IndiGo pilot has gone viral on social media after sharing a striking night-time aerial view of the India-Pakistan border from the cockpit of an aircraft, offering passengers and viewers a rare perspective of the illuminated frontier from high above the ground.
Dramatic visuals of one of the scariest borders
Captain Pradeep Krishnan posted the video online, capturing what appeared to be a glowing line of lights cutting across the dark landscape during a late-night flight. The footage showed a long stretch of bright yellow floodlights tracing the border, sharply contrasting with the surrounding darkness and creating a dramatic visual of one of the world’s most heavily monitored boundaries.

In the video, Captain Krishnan can be heard addressing passengers onboard the flight, saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, if you look outside the aircraft, you might capture a glimpse of one of the most sensitive, heavily guarded borders of the world, the India-Pakistan border.”
The aerial visuals prominently showcased the Radcliffe Line, with illuminated security installations and border infrastructure visible from both sides. From cruising altitude, the glowing border appeared almost surreal, prompting strong reactions from viewers online.
