The IMD warning reads, "Severe Thunderstorm & lightning accompanied with light to moderate rain and gusty wind with speed 30-40 kmph. very likely to affect over some parts of Kolkata, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Howrah districts during next 2-3 hours from 02:40, 05-10-2025."
