Cloudy skies and rain in Bengal before Kali Puja? Here is what the weather department say

Though the monsoon has bid farewell, dark clouds of disturbance still linger in Bengal's skies. As the monsoon winds recede, cold air from the north has started entering. The collision between moisture-laden eastern winds and dry cold air has created conditions for forming thunderclouds over Bengal. This has resulted in gloomy skies, and the charm of autumn's morning has also disappeared suddenly.

On Sunday, the sky will remain mostly cloudy. There is a possibility of partly cloudy skies in some places. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in four coastal districts of South Bengal and three districts in the hilly regions of North Bengal.

Weather will improve in the north from Monday as well. There is no possibility of rain anywhere in North Bengal on Monday. Clouds may clear to reveal bright sunny clear skies in North Bengal. Fog may be seen in some places in the morning.
