For over 300 years, the Aditya Bari Kali Puja has been carrying forward the tradition and legacy of faith, art, and community. Every year, the Aditya Bari Kali Puja has been upholding this heritage through themes of Bengal’s cultural identity, infused with contemporary imagination.

This year's theme

This year's Kali Puja theme was “Where Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter,” a theme that beautifully intertwines the classic with the modern thoughts. The concept was a luminous tribute to Bengal’s timeless artistry, blending the traditional spirit of devotion with the elegance and radiance of modern design.

Aditya Bari Kali Puja celebrates the divine through a visual prayer that unites faith, design, and emotion. A reflection of the infusion of traditional essence with modern glamour. The theme of this year's theme emphasises on eternal strength of the divine mother, divine prosperity and radiance through red and gold. The new reimagined alpanas, highlighted with gold, mirrors and soft lighting that gave the Aditya Bari courtyard a soft, warm glow, creating a welcoming ambience. Starting from golden drapes and bright backdrops, every design aspect was a reflection of Bengal's rich history of craftsmanship, inspired by age-old tradition with a modern touch.

While talking about this year's theme, Aditya Group Chairman, Anirban Aditya, said, “Aditya Bari Kali Puja has always been about honouring our roots while embracing the evolving beauty of culture. This year’s theme is a celebration of balance — between devotion and design, faith and festivity, heritage and modernity. ‘Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter’ embodies the luminous journey of Bengal’s spirit.”

The grand celebration was attended by some of the prominent personalities from the entertainment and business fraternity, like actors Sauraseni Maitra, Neel Bhattacharya, Trina Saha, and Sourav Das, Bandhan Bank founder Shekhar Ghosh, Senco Gold and Diamonds Executive Director Suvankar Sen, Satyam Ray Chowdhury, Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University and Co-Founder of Techno India Group and many more.

Kasturi Kejriwal, Chief Operating Officer, Aditya Group, expressed his emotional connection with Aditya Bari Puja, calling the puja not just an event but an emotion that binds generations.
