Another rape incident has occurred in the state. A minor girl was allegedly given alcohol and raped in the Palashipara police station area of Nadia. Police have arrested the accused.
It has been learned that on the night of Kali Puja, a local youth called the minor girl from her home and took her away. She was allegedly given alcohol and raped while unconscious. Meanwhile, when the minor girl did not return home, family members started searching for her.
After some time, the minor girl returned home on her own. Upon reaching home, the minor girl informed her family about the entire incident. Immediately, family members filed a complaint against the youth at Palashipara police station. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the accused youth yesterday.
An officer from Palashipara police station said that the accused was arrested immediately. Police will ensure that the culprit receives strict punishment.
