When he looked closely, he realised that the note was counterfeit. The police were informed. After that, the police laid a trap to find the father and son.

On Sunday, the Golabari police arrested Suman Mondal (42) and Babu Mondal (24) from the Howrah bus stand with counterfeit notes. Ten thousand counterfeit rupees were recovered from them. They are residents of North 24 Parganas. They had bought things from the Howrah station premises with counterfeit ₹500 notes.
