Strike called off, normal bus services resume in Arambagh

Arambagh bus owners finally called off the strike after the administration installed height barriers on both sides of the Ramkrishna Bridge.

Since last Wednesday, October 15, all bus associations in the Arambagh subdivision have jointly stopped operating buses. Finally, on Friday, the bus owners called off the strike. The administration had installed height barriers on both sides of the Ramkrishna Bridge. On Thursday, an administrative meeting was called at the Arambagh subdivision magistrate's office. Administration officials, along with bus owners, were present there. It has been learned that within a day or two, the administration will remove the height barriers and arrange for an alternative bridge.
