The student had gone to take her Higher Secondary examination (HS exam) with her maternal uncle. The uncle dropped his niece at the examination center and left. He returned to pick her up after the exam. But when all the students had come out of the examination center, his niece had not emerged. The school became empty. The uncle was forced to go inside and search for the student. There, speaking with the teachers, he learned that his niece had not taken the exam that day.

The uncle was shocked to hear this! This news reached the police on Thursday. Police are examining CCTV cameras in the surrounding area. However, during investigation, police have learned that this student from Sabang had previously eloped with her boyfriend. At that time, family members convinced her and got her readmitted to school. Police suspect the same incident may have occurred this time as well.

Girl did not enter school gate, say authorities

After preliminary investigation, police have reported that the missing examinee is 18 years and 5 months old. The examinee's home is in Sabang. She studied at a local school in the area. The examination center was Chandkuri High School. Like other exam days, around 9 AM that day, the student left home with her maternal uncle for the examination center. However, she did not enter the examination center. The teachers in charge of the examination were somewhat surprised by the student's sudden absence. This was because she had been present for the previous two examinations. They immediately informed the headmaster about the matter.

Chandkuri High School headmaster Basu Hembram said, "Seeing one examinee suddenly absent after taking two examinations, I contacted the headmaster of their school. The headmaster of their school contacted the family. Only then was it known that she had gone somewhere else after leaving to take the exam." The headmaster claims that although the uncle brought her to the examination center, the examinee did not enter inside the school gate. It is not known where she went from outside. By the time the student's family members arrived, the examination had ended. Even the student's maternal uncle came to the school frantically searching for the student.

As soon as the incident became known, family members started searching everywhere. All relatives also tried to search. When no trace was found anywhere, the student's family finally filed a missing diary at Sabang police station in the evening. In preliminary investigation, police suspect that the examinee may have eloped with her boyfriend. This is because many people saw a girl in school uniform fleeing with a young man before the exam started. However, they did not know she was an examinee, so they did not try to stop her.
