Until all the people of the state fill up the enumeration form, Mamata Banerjee will not fill up the form either—she announced this on her X handle. The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) work of the voter list has started across the state of West Bengal. BLOs are going door to door. From VVIPs to common people, the enumeration forms will reach everyone. Everyone has to fill up the form. In the eyes of the Election Commission, all voters are equal. The rules are the same for everyone. Names will appear on the voter list only after filling up this form.

On Thursday, Mamata Banerjee wrote on her X handle, "Until every person in Bengal fills up the form, I myself have not filled up any form and will not do so." She claimed that reports published in various media outlets stating that she came out of her residence and personally received the enumeration form from the BLO are completely false, misleading and motivated propaganda.

The Chief Minister further wrote, "Yesterday, the assigned BLO came to our neighbourhood to do their designated work. In the course of duty, they came to my residence office, inquired about how many voters are in the house and left the forms."

On November 4, BLOs started the door-to-door enumeration form fill-up phase. On the same day, Trinamool took to the streets regarding SIR holding rallies. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee have given a stern message that not a single legitimate voter's name should be left out. The message has been given that a storm of protests will rise all the way to Delhi. On this day, the Chief Minister announced that first, every voter in Bengal will fill up the form, only then will she touch the form.
