Even after leaving the White House nearly a decade ago, Former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama remain among the world’s most talked-about couples.
Every few months, new claims surface questioning the current status of their relationship.
For instance, just recently, presidential historian Leon Wagener noted that the Obamas are “living separate lives.”

“The Obamas have been living separate lives for a while now, and whenever you see them on vacation, it’s just an act for appearances’ sake,” Wagener told Reality Tea.
Reports that Barack, now 63, has been seen dining solo at several California restaurants this year, and this left the rumour mill churning.
“They clearly haven’t gotten along in years,” Wagener told Radar Online.
Michelle, however, when speaking about marriage, never denies that it takes effort. She admitted in earlier interviews that Barack’s small habits, “such as the way he chews his food,” can be annoying.
For his part, Barack, reflecting on his presidency, recently joked that he “dug himself plenty of holes” over the years but added that he is now “at about level ground,” as reported by Reality Tea.

Obama split rumours have persisted partly because of a few notable absences
Michelle did not attend the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter in January, nor did she appear at Donald Trump’s inauguration, where Barack was seen alone.
Wagener insists the two “barely speak” these days, but she has “never thought about leaving Barack.”
