U.S. President Donald Trump has once again taken aim at Late Night with Seth Meyers host Seth Meyers, calling him talentless and suggesting that NBC’s late-night criticism of him could be “illegal.”

In a post shared Saturday on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ live in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise. NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!”

The President’s remarks came days after Meyers aired a segment titled “Seth Translates Trump to English” on Thursday night, humorously dissecting the President’s recent speech to U.S. Navy personnel aboard the USS George Washington in Japan.

‘If you say something mean about him, that’s treason’

During the segment, Meyers mocked Trump’s tendency to react strongly to criticism. “Trump thinks that if you say something mean about him, that’s treason,” the host joked, referencing Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer’s recent remarks about Trump’s Asia trip.

The President’s fiery Truth Social response arrived shortly after the episode aired, appearing to confirm the late-night host’s point.

A feud that keeps returning

This is far from the first time the President has clashed with Meyers. Earlier this year, Trump referred to the comedian as “Marble Mouth Meyers” and accused NBC of extending his contract “for no reason other than bias.”

Back in August, Trump fumed over reports that NBC had renewed Meyers’ show through 2028, calling it “a disgrace” and adding, “He has no ratings, talent, or intelligence.”

Seth Meyers, has previously brushed off Trump’s barbs, once remarking that “it’s kind of nice to be on the President’s radar.”

Late-night comedy in Trump’s crosshairs

President Trump’s criticism of Meyers fits a larger pattern of public feuds with late-night personalities. Over recent months, he has taken shots at Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon, often accusing them of spreading “fake news” under the guise of comedy.

In July, Trump celebrated the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and more recently, he commented on ABC’s decision to reinstate Jimmy Kimmel Live! after a brief suspension.

While the President’s remarks quickly drew headlines, Meyers has not directly responded. Instead, the NBC host reposted the same A Closer Look segment to social media, the one that sparked the President’s latest reaction.
