An Indian-origin motel manager, Rakesh Ehagaban, was reportedly shot on Friday. The 51-year-old Ehagaban went out to check on an argument in the Robinson Township motel parking, which he owned. Recently a CCTV footage has been surfacing in the social media which caught the moment of the chilling crime. The footage shows the moment, the suspect walking up to Ehagaban and shooting him at point blank.

What the footage showed
37-year-old Stanley Eugene West has been identified as the accused and charged with criminal homicide, attempted homicide, and recklessly endangering another person, Hindustan Times reported.
Allegheny County Superintendent Christopher Kearns told CBS News that Ehagaban perished immediately at the scene. "The suspect approached him and shot him at close range."
Based on police reports, the owner and manager of the motel was attempting to intervene after he heard what sounded like gunfire coming from outside. Earlier, the attacker, 37-year-old Stanley Eugene West, allegedly shot a woman after an argument in the parking lot. West shot Ehagaban when he asked, “Are you alright bud?” Based on the footage, police further said that the accused walked towards him and shot him in the head.
Notably, the police indicated that West had been residing at the motel for about two weeks with the same woman he shot and a child. Prior to the fatal shooting, he allegedly approached the woman, sitting inside a black sedan with the child and fired several rounds, breaking the car window. However, the child remained unharmed.
The accused, West also reported injuring a police officer of police Pittsburgh bureau of police’s detective department during the East Hills incident. Acting Police Chief Martin Devine, in a statement said, “The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police detective injured by gunfire during the critical incident in East Hills on Friday is resting comfortably at home with his family and with the full support of his fellow officers and the Bureau. The family asks for privacy at this time.”
