The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026. Students who are planning to seek admission to undergraduate courses through CUET can now apply online at the official website.
CUET UG 2026: Important dates
The application process began on January 3, 2026.
Candidates can submit their forms till January 30, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
The last date to complete the fee payment is January 31, 2026.
The correction window will be open from February 2 to February 4, 2026.
Details about exam city allocation and admit card release will be announced later.
The CUET UG 2026 examination is tentatively scheduled to be held between May 11 and May 31, 2026.
The dates for the answer key release and results will also be notified in due course.

CUET UG 2026: How to apply
To apply, candidates need to visit the official CUET website and click on the CUET UG 2026 registration link.
After completing the initial registration using basic details, applicants must log in, fill out the application form carefully, upload the required documents, pay the application fee online and submit the form.
Candidates are advised to download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

CUET UG 2026: Eligibility criteria
Applicants should have passed Class 12 from a recognised central or state board. Those who have completed Intermediate or a two-year Pre-University course, Higher Secondary Vocational exams, or a recognised diploma of at least three years are also eligible.
Candidates who passed the Senior Secondary exam from NIOS with at least five subjects or the final exam of the NDA’s Joint Services Wing can also apply.
CUET UG 2026: Application fees
For general category candidates, the fee is Rs 1,000 for up to three subjects, with Rs 400 for each additional subject. OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates need to pay Rs 900 and Rs 375 for extra subjects.
For SC, ST, PwD, PwBD and third-gender candidates, the fee is Rs 800 with Rs 350 per additional subject.
