Russian President Vladimir Putin has landed in New Delhi to attend the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit, on a two-day state visit. The Russian leader is visiting India for the first time after the outbreak of the war with Ukraine in February 2022. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has released the itinerary of the Russian President's visit to India. All programs have been scheduled for December 5, after which the Russian president will depart at night.

11 AM: Ceremonial Reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
11:30 AM: Wreath laying at Rajghat.
11:50 AM: Meeting with PM Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House.
1:50 PM: Press statement from the two heads of state at Hyderabad House.
3:40 PM: Business event, the venue of which is still being decided.

PM Modi and President Putin will subsequently attend the 23rd India-Russia Summit, and are scheduled to sign a number of agreements.
7 PM: Meet President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
9 PM: Depart from New Delhi.
New Delhi has been placed on high security alert since before the Russian President landed. PTI reported that Delhi Police, central security agencies and President Putin's personal security team have established a multi-layered security ring, with SWAT and anti-terror units, snipers, and quick-reaction teams stationed at major sensitive points.
