The online application window for the 2025 Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) recruitment of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has been reopened. The candidates who had missed the registration earlier can apply from 5th December to 12th December.
BPSC AEDO 2025: Vacancy, eligibility, and pay
The recruitment is for a total of 935 vacancies for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) post. The posts carry a standard Level-5 pay scale as per state government norms. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The age limit shall be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 37 years for UR males (relaxations applicable for other categories). The pay scale will be level 5, which will start at ₹29,200 (subject to revision).

There has been a massive response in the first round of reopening the registration. There are approximately 9.7 lakh candidates who have applied for the 935 posts. The written examination will be conducted in multiple phases in January 2026. All eligibility criteria and application procedures remain unchanged as per BPSC. This is a final opportunity for aspirants to participate in one of the state's largest recruitment drives.
