Eggs and strawberries rarely cross paths in a kitchen—but one street food vendor has decided to rewrite that rule. His latest creation, scrambled eggs cooked with a fizzy strawberry-flavoured energy drink, has taken Instagram by storm.
The viral clip opens with the vendor heating a pan and pouring in Sting Energy, a well-known carbonated drink. He cracks four eggs directly into the pan and stirs until the mixture thickens and becomes velvety. After that, he seasons it with salt and adds chopped green chillies and onions. As the scramble cooks, he pours in another splash of the energy drink, followed by tomatoes and fresh coriander, before letting everything simmer together.
And just like that, the strawberry-style scrambled eggs are ready. The caption on the post reads: "India's Most Surprising Strawberry Scrambled Eggs!" It also notes that the dish is sold in Kolkata, West Bengal, and priced at Rs 150.

More viewers echoed similar concerns, with one saying, "I still don't understand why they do this." Another question, "Does the seller taste their food beforehand?"
