Earning by creating content? Then more views, more money. Everyone is talking about this.
Is this claim true?
The recently concluded YouTube Impact Summit provided substantial proof of this. A repository of data has been created about YouTube's impact on the economy. Additionally, a report by Oxford Economics has revealed the significant impact YouTube has had on the Indian economy. According to that report, YouTube's creative ecosystem contributed ₹16,000 crore to India's GDP last year. It has been claimed that there is also a substantial contribution to employment. It has been claimed that YouTube's creative ecosystem helped create equivalent work to more than 9 lakh full-time jobs.

According to a Business Standard report, earlier in May at the WAVES summit, YouTube had announced that ₹21,000 crore had been paid to India's media organisations, artists and creators over the past 3 years. Keeping this impact and business growth in India in mind, YouTube has recently announced multiple partnerships.
YouTube has announced partnerships with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). It has been stated that these partnerships are aimed at creating more content on topics ranging from animation, visual effects, gaming, to health-related subjects.
Additionally, the video streaming company has also announced bringing some AI-powered tools to the platform. YouTube has introduced AI-powered editing tools for content creators. This allows any footage to be quickly edited and posted easily. Moreover, a special tool is also coming to detect and report fake videos or deepfakes created by AI. This has been primarily developed keeping content creators in mind.
