The Staff Selection Commission is expected to declare the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 in the first week of December. The merit list mentioning the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for Tier 2 has been eagerly awaited by aspirants across the country. The result will be declared in PDF format on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
SSC recently closed the objection window for the provisional answer key. Objections filed by candidates are being scrutinized, and the final answer key will be published after the declaration of results. Along with the shortlist, the Commission will publish post-wise and category-wise cutoff marks as well.

How to check SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2025?
Candidates can do the following once the result is released:
Visit ssc.gov.in
Click on the 'Results' section
Select Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025 – Tier 1 Result
Open the PDF that is on screen.
Download and save the file
Use Ctrl + F to search your roll number
If your number appears, then you are eligible for Tier 2.
Individual scorecards and the final answer key will be made available later by SSC through the candidate login portal.
Exam conducted in multiple shifts
The SSC CGL Tier 1 examination was conducted across various centres in multiple shifts. The paper consisted of four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The provisional answer key was published after the exam for candidates to raise objections.
What happens after Tier 1?
Candidates qualifying in Tier 1 will be appearing for the Tier 2 exam, which is the main examination stage. Paper I of Tier 2 is compulsory for all posts, while additional papers apply for specific job roles. Tier 2 is expected to be conducted in January–February 2026.
