Ranveer Singh’s flirty comment on Deepika Padukone’s date-night pictures breaks the internet

Ranveer Singh’s comment on Deepika Padukone’s recent post has taken over the internet, overshadowing even the buzz around his film Dhurandhar.

Ranveer Singh may be riding high on the strong reviews for Dhurandhar, but it’s his reaction to Deepika Padukone’s latest post that ended up winning the day online. On Thursday night, Deepika shared photos from their movie date, where the couple attended a special screening of Ranveer’s new release.

Dressed in a black button-down jacket paired with high-waisted dark denim, Deepika captioned her post: “Date Night at the Movies! #Dhurandhar @ranveersingh.”

While fans rushed in with praise, Ranveer’s cheeky comment stole the moment. Sliding into the comments section, he wrote: “Jaan he lele.”

Instantly, Instagram lit up with reactions. “This man is down BAD and we love it,” wrote one fan. Another simply said, “Find someone who hypes you like Ranveer hyped Deepika.”

Deepika reviews Dhurandhar: ‘Worth Every Minute’

After the screening, Deepika took to Instagram Stories to applaud the film and Ranveer’s performance.

She wrote on her story, “Dhurandhar has been watched and is worth every minute of those 3.36 hours… So incredibly proud of you, Ranveer Singh.”

She also congratulated director Aditya Dhar and the entire cast including Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt for the film’s release.

About Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar is directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie tracks an Intelligence Bureau operation led by R Madhavan’s character as he attempts to dismantle a terror network across Pakistan. Ranveer plays a 20-year-old Punjabi man who is recruited from prison and is trained to infiltrate Karachi’s criminal underworld.

The film was shot across Thailand, Mumbai, Punjab and Ladakh between July 2024 and October 2025. The CBFC cleared it with an ‘A’ certificate for its gritty representation of the IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack and Operation Lyari.

With strong word-of-mouth and the couple’s viral moment boosting visibility, Dhurandhar has now become both a box office and internet talking point and Ranveer’s comment has become the sweetest headline of all.
