Ranveer Singh has shared a cryptic message on his social media as his latest release Dhurandhar continues to break records at the Indian box office. The actor took to Instagram Stories on Monday, reflecting on fate, patience and the evil eye, just days after the film crossed the ₹350 crore nett mark domestically.

In the post, Ranveer wrote in Hindi, “Kismat ki ek bohot khoobsurat aadat hai, ki woh waqt aane par badalti hai… lekin filhal… nazar aur sabr.”
(Translation: Fate has a beautiful habit — it changes when the time comes. But for now… warding off the evil eye and patience.)
The post quickly drew attention from fans, coming at a time when Dhurandhar is enjoying unprecedented box-office momentum.
Dhurandhar sets new box-office benchmarks
According to trade portal Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has earned over ₹350 crore nett in India so far. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the film has rewritten box-office records, particularly on its second weekend.
In a post on X, Adarsh said the film registered the highest-ever second Saturday collection in the history of Hindi cinema, overtaking major blockbusters such as Pushpa 2 (Hindi), Animal, Gadar 2 and Jawan.
About the film
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar follows the story of Indian spy Hamza, who infiltrates Pakistan and becomes a part of a gangster Rehman Dakait’s network group. The movie draws inspiration from real-life incidents including the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, offering the audience with a tense portrayal of the India-Pakistan conflict.

The film stars Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.
