Hoichoi has unveiled its 2026 content slate with a dramatic showcase that puts its deep-rooted love for Bengali storytelling at the centre.
The announcement teaser was carried by Laughtersane and Miss Dutta, with characters from the upcoming shows stepping forward to introduce their stories, adding a theatrical touch to the content slate reveal.
The platform announced 12 upcoming web shows for the year, evenly split between six brand-new originals and six returning franchises that already have a loyal fan base, who are eagerly waiting for them. Spanning thrillers, social dramas, folklore-driven narratives and investigative mysteries, the line-up signals Hoichoi’s focus on various layered storytelling.
Regarding this, Soumya Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer, Hoichoi, says, "Reimagining Bengali content every year has been at the heart of what we do at Hoichoi. Our new slate of 12 originals marks the start of the year with fresh stories, familiar franchises, and book adaptations that audiences have a strong emotional connection with."
He added, "This is only the first phase of what we have planned. More content announcements will follow as we keep listening closely to our viewers and creating Bengali stories that connect just as strongly at home as they do globally, from Durgapur to Dallas."
Goyenda Aditya Majumdar
Goyenda Aditya Majumdar, directed by Aritra Sen and starring Parambrata Chattopadhyay.
It marks Parambrata’s return from anchor, director, to actor. The story begins with a suspicious lift crash at the Chowdhury mansion and spirals into a complex investigation filled with disappearances, disguises and carefully planted clues.
Queens
Among the highlights is Queens, set in Lataguri and centred on Manik Sarkar, a powerful figure who built his empire over decades. The story takes a dark turn when Manik and his three sons die in what the police describe as accidents, just hours after his youngest son, Arjun, marries Meera, his longtime partner from abroad. By nightfall, four women are left widowed. Refusing to remain victims, the four widows rise to challenge the entrenched nexus of power, emerging as avengers- the Queens.
Adalat O Ekti Meye
Adalat O Ekti Meye, directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee and starring Koushani Mukherjee. The series follows a high-achieving corporate professional whose life unravels after a brutal workplace betrayal, forcing her into a fierce battle for truth and justice in a world where power and appearances are deeply misleading.
Roktofolok
Folklore meets horror in Roktofolok, directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay and starring Saswata Chatterjee. An ancient curse from Somapura resurfaces after a sacred slab goes missing, unleashing a reincarnated evil that targets young women. Tantric Agambagish is pulled into a dangerous battle against a force he once defeated in another lifetime.

Kuheli
Completing the slate is Kuheli, directed by Aditi Roy and starring Ridhima Ghosh, Susmita Dey and Angana Roy. Set in a misty hill town, the series revolves around the staged suicide of a respected ACP. As suspicion grows around his wife and her two sisters, long-buried grudges and dark secrets come to light, revealing that everyone has a motive-and nothing is as it seems.
Hoichoi is all set for 2026 with a bold and theatrical content reveal, reaffirming its commitment to boldly Bengali storytelling across genres. With all these brand new stories, classic stories of Eken Babu and Montu Pilot promise to entertain the audience.
