It wouldn't be wrong to call curry leaves a one-stop hair care solution. Curry leaves have been used for hair care for many years. Just as curry leaves are highly effective in adding flavour to cooking, in Ayurveda, too, curry leaves are extremely beneficial for maintaining hair beauty and health. They contain vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, and vitamin E. They also have iron, calcium, amino acids and powerful antioxidants, which nourish hair from within.

Why are curry leaves beneficial for hair?
Reduces hair fall. The protein and beta-carotene present in curry leaves strengthen hair, reducing breakage and excessive hair fall problems.
Prevents premature greying. The antioxidants and vitamin B complex present in them help retain the natural black colour of hair by increasing melanin production.
Effective for rapid hair growth. Helps grow new hair by increasing blood circulation and activating hair follicles.
Also beneficial for keeping dandruff and scalp healthy. Its antimicrobial components control scalp infections and reduce dryness. As a result, dandruff is reduced.
Maintains natural shine in hair. With regular proper use of curry leaves, hair becomes soft, smooth and shiny.
