Even as winter intensifies, contact with cold water won't decrease. Tasks like washing dishes, doing laundry, and cooking must be done. And these cannot be accomplished without water. Hot water cannot be used for all tasks. Frequent use of cold water and soap deteriorates the condition of hand skin. Hand skin becomes wrinkled. And the more frequently you apply soap, the rougher and drier the skin becomes. Even the risk of eczema increases. Therefore, extra care must be taken for both hands this winter. What should you do, and what things should you avoid?

1) Don't wash your hands with soap frequently. Using excessively alkaline soap damages the skin. This makes the skin sensitive. The skin becomes extremely dry, and the risk of eczema increases.

2) Whenever you clean your hands with soap, definitely use hand cream afterwards. Moisturiser helps keep hand skin protected and soft. Moisturiser creates a layer of moisture on the skin's surface.
