The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled a action-packed fixture list for the 2027 home summer. England’s home campaign starts on May 15 with a five-match ODI series against Pakistan, providing early preparation for the 2027 ICC Men’s World Cup. Following the white-ball opener, England Men will host Bangladesh for a single Test match at Lord’s starting May 28. This fixture marks the first time Bangladesh Men have played a Test match in England since 2010.

Men’s Ashes 2027: Venues and key dates

The blockbuster Men’s Ashes series begins on June 18 at Nottingham. The action then shifts to Lord’s and Edgbaston for the second and third Test matches. In a major milestone, Southampton’s Utilita Bowl will host its first-ever Ashes Test match as the venue for the fourth Test. The five-match battle concludes at The Oval, starting July 29.

England Lions vs Australia preparation match

To prepare for the Ashes, Australia Men will face a full-strength England Lions side in a four-day match at Emirates Old Trafford from June 7-10. This match is contingent on Australia not qualifying for the World Test Championship final. ECB and Cricket Australia have agreed to repeat this arrangement when England travels down under in 2029.

The Oval to host 2027 ICC World Test Championship final

The Oval will stage the ICC World Test Championship Final from June 9 to June 13, marking the fourth edition of the tournament final and coinciding with 150 years of Test cricket.
