The stage is set for the big event as the 42 qualified teams with 6 vacant seats have now been placed among the 12 groups. Each group will consist of 4 teams. The 42 qualified teams and 22 teams are still not winning the running of the World Cup, and only 6 teams from that will go through the main event.
There will also be some historic matches, like as the first meeting between the tournament's smallest country, Curacao, and its biggest, Germany. Every FIFA World Cup has at least one group that is dubbed the "Group of Death," but it's hard to say which one it will be this time.

Before the draw event, the FIFA president Gianni Infantino surprised the audience at the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington, D.C., when he presented his first-ever FIFA Peace Prize to none other than “close friend” Donald Trump.
