Whether it's gold and silver, or mutual funds or the stock market, moving away from old investment plans, many are trying to think in new ways in the new year so that they can bring in the best profits. Secure the future of you and your family. And since the market is always fluctuating, you may not be able to rely on a specific agent to keep an eye on this matter every moment. You want to become knowledgeable about these investment plans yourself. For that, many are seeing such various advertisements on social media and getting into taking online courses. And in doing so, customers are falling into traps.

Investment and trading scams on the rise

A report recently presented in Parliament shows that among the top 10 cybercrimes that have risen most in 2025 or the scams that have defrauded customers of the most money, investment and trading scams rank third. Cyber experts say the number of such cybercrimes may increase further in the first three to four months of the new year. This is because many people think about changing their investment patterns somewhat in the new year. They think about how to increase their saved money a little. Keeping in mind this behavior of common people, experts believe that such advertisements on social media have increased significantly since the end of last year. They say there may be schemes to ruin customers behind all these advertisements. By clicking on such unknown links, cyber fraudsters can install malware or remote apps on your device. Then they can steal various secret information or important data from your device and attack your bank account.

In many cases, by the time you realize that the entire advertisement is fake, a large amount of money has been stolen from your account. Again, many times through these links you may be directed toward wrong funds.

For this reason, the advice of police and cyber security agencies is that if you need to invest or take training, contact a professional agent or expert organization directly. Be cautious if someone promises extraordinary profits at low cost. Before investing anywhere, find out what the investment and return graph has been like over the past few years and what the projection is for the next few years! If you don't invest wisely, you won't have to bite your hands later.
