UP Homeguard admit card released—here's what candidates must know

The written examination will be conducted across 74 districts on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has activated the download link for the UP Homeguard Admit Card 2026, allowing candidates to access their hall tickets for the upcoming recruitment exam.

Admit cards released in phases

The recruitment drive aims to fill 41,424 Homeguard volunteer posts across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, uppbpb.gov.in, using their registration number and date of birth.

As per the schedule, admit cards are being released in phases. Hall tickets for candidates appearing on April 25, 2026, are already available from April 22. Those scheduled for April 26 can download theirs from April 23, while admit cards for the April 27 exam will be released on April 24.

Exam schedule and centres

The written examination will be conducted across 74 districts on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. Each day will have two shifts, from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Authorities have made specific arrangements for candidates. Women candidates have been allotted centres within their home administrative region to minimise travel, while male candidates have been assigned centres in nearby districts.

High competition expected

The recruitment process has drawn more than 25 lakh applications, pointing to intense competition for the available vacancies. Candidates are advised to check their exam details carefully and plan their travel in advance.

Exam pattern details

The test will be conducted offline using an OMR sheet. It will carry a total of 100 marks and have a duration of two hours. The paper will include 100 questions, all based on General Knowledge.

There will be no negative marking, allowing candidates to attempt all questions without penalty.

Salary and allowances

Candidates selected as Homeguard volunteers will receive a daily duty allowance of Rs 600, along with applicable Dearness Allowance as per state norms. For a full month of duty, the total earnings are estimated to be around Rs 28,000.

The release of admit cards marks a key step ahead of the examination, with candidates now gearing up for the test dates.
