IAF’s Nyoma: World’s highest airbase at 13,000ft

The airbase is approximately 2.7 kilometres, built to withstand extreme Himalayan conditions dropping to –40 °C. The infrastructure includes hardened aircraft shelters and high‐altitude fuel storage facilities.
